Hamburger Cups

It’s official, I am a hockey mom!
In honour of the good ol’ hockey game (it’s the best game you can name after all!) I have put a recipe to the test for hockey nights, us hockey moms have to stick together after all.
You don’t have to be a hockey mom to make this but you could pretend you are and yell things like “where is your jock?” or “did you tape your stick?”
Your kids will probably think you are crazy and lock themselves in their room for awhile until dinner is ready, which only means one thing… quiet. Or at least door muffled quiet which is pretty close.

Hamburger Cups
1 package pilsbury crescent dough
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup bbq sauce (I used Diana’s honey garlic bbq sauce)
salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Brown the beef in a skillet. Once fully cooked add the onion and cook over medium low for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper and bbq sauce. Stir together and remove from heat.
Grease a 6 cup jumbo muffin pan. Press the crescent dough into the cup and stretch up the sides. (There are 8 crescent triangles so I doubled up two of the tins) Divide the beef mixture among each cup.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the dough is golden brown.
